Jada Middleton is inviting young adults to come explore the “Happiness Project” at Hills of Peace campground.
Dates: Aug 21-23
Registration Fee: $150
- Arrival Friday evening around 6:30 begins our weekend with board games.
- Saturday’s theme class is lead by Vonda DenBoer our guest minister.
- There is free time as well as time at the waterfront of Capt Ayre lake
- An “expression dinner” where participants wear or display something of significant personal meaning
- Campfire and star gazing. Registration fee $150

The world feels heavy right now, doesn’t it? Every headline screams at us. Social media tells us how to feel about everything—who to love, who to hate, what side to pick. It’s loud. It’s exhausting. And honestly, sometimes it feels like everything is broken.
So what do we do with that? How do we hold on to what matters when the ground keeps shifting?
That’s what this weekend is about. Here and Now. It’s about stepping away from the noise for a couple of days and asking real questions together:
- Do my values line up with my actions?
- Am I living in a way that feels true and authentic?
- How do we show up for each other in ways that actually help?
You don’t need to have answers. You don’t need to have your life together. You just need to show up and be willing to connect with others asking the same types of questions.
We’ll share meals, conversations, and space to breathe. We’ll laugh. Maybe cry a little.
Vonda DenBoer Director of Camping and Campground Sustainability will join us for part of the weekend. Come get to know her and she would love to hear your stories and ideas for future camping ministries.
